How to Opt In
You may opt in to SMS notifications by enabling them in your account settings under Settings → Notifications. By enabling SMS notifications and providing your mobile phone number, you consent to receive text messages from GuidingLight™ at the number provided.
Types of Messages
When opted in, you may receive text messages for any of the following:
- Provider availability and waitlist openings
- New messages from providers or seekers
- Credential verification status updates (providers)
- New interest alerts from seekers (providers)
- Account and platform notifications
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your account activity and the notification types you have enabled. You will only receive messages for the categories you have turned on in your settings.
Costs
GuidingLight™ does not charge for SMS notifications. However, message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
How to Stop Messages
Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe immediately. You may also disable SMS notifications at any time in your account settings. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message.
Need Help?
Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us at support@thebeacon.help. Replying CANCEL or QUIT also stops messages.
